“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” – Joshua 1:9
These are unprecedented days in the life of the church and for the citizens of the world. The global pandemic has led us into new territory. The good news is that all of this is not a surprise to God, and while we may feel unprepared and uncertain, we know that we are able to put our faith and trust in God. We also understand that many people are hurting right now due the disruption caused by coronavirus.
Much has changed at a fast pace, but we know one very important fact that hasn’t change: the faithfulness of God.
While there continue to be challenges related to this global pandemic, we are encouraged as we see many positive signs that we are returning to some form of normalcy. House of Succor is still adhering to the direction of our local and national authorities, all our events and services are postponed until further notice.
House of Succor partnered with CDM Word Ministries during this time donating Mother’s Day baskets given to every mother during their "Mother's Day Parking Lot Service" and distributed fabric masks at their “Drive-Thru Communion” event.
As some communities begin to reopen during the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, public health officials say the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Please continue to following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to help protect yourself and others. Stay informed about what’s happening in your community, and always follow the directions of state and local authorities.
May the Peace of God continue to cover you, your family and friends!
